Is there a question in that post?? As I see and read the post the coin is worth five cents.

Its a very worn nickel worth 5 cents. You can spend at a store of your choosing.

It is time to buy a Guide Book of United States Coins (the Red Book). The coin you show is a low grade 1946-S nickel that is worth a nickel.

In the future, would you mind trying to upload your images directly into your post? Your posts always have these linked images that we have to click on to view, but it’s very easy to drag and drop the attachment into the body of the post, or use the drop down and select them from your files. There is a “testing” forum all the way at the bottom of the home page that’s solely for this purpose.

That is an extremely rare off metal strike if it is 35% silver. What makes you think it is 35% silver?

Definitely save it, coinflation says its melt value is 6.75 cents! :D

Very circulated 46-S. Nothing really special about this coin unless you throw pre 60 nickels into saving tubes.

Although only worth a nickel, I would throw it in my coin jar and keep it.
