Any Memory Lane Auction Wins Last Night?

Here are mine. I recently said that I would not collect unopened material again...well New Years resolution has already been broken, 8 days into 2023.

There were some amazing unopened wax packs up for auction: (#1) a 1962 Topps Mars Attacks 5-cent wax pack PSA-8, POP 1 (and highest graded pack), (#2) a 1965 Topps Football 5-cent wax pack BBCE authenticated (Len Dawson on back and Joe Namath RC Series pack), and (#3) a 1967 Topps Baseball high series wax pack PSA-8, POP 1 (and the only Series #7 1967 wax pack graded by PSA and the only unopened graded high series 1967 wax pack known to exist at this point).

I would only add an additional wax pack if PSA would ever grade a 1963 Topps baseball wax pack high series ( 7th Series, Pete Rose RC, Willie Stargell RC and Roberto Clemente series)

Well...here is my haul, again I could not resist stepping back in:

This pack is very sentimental to me in that I started collecting baseball cards growing up in the 1960s. I could clearly see that a Cincinnati Reds is on the back of the pack. I went onto eBay and searched 1964 Cincinnati Reds and looked closely at all of the Reds cards for that year. At first...I became extremely excited because I thought it is Joe Nuxhall...making it a 2nd series pack (Pete Rose series)...but his white pants leg does not match up with what is visible through the wax wrapper. Then...I looked at Tommy Harper #330 and the edge of his left pants leg matches the shape of the pants leg visible through the wax wrapper. This makes it a 4th series pack with possible Hank Aaron, AL Bombers, Willie Stargell, or Willie McCovey cards.

As mentioned above...this is a one-of-a-kind 1967 Series #7 wax pack, PSA-8 with possible Tom Seaver RC, Rod Carew RC, or Brooks Robinson cards.

This is a 1968 Topps Baseball wax pack PSA-8, POP 6 Series #3 with possible cards of Johnny Bench RC, Mickey Mantle, Pete Rose, or Carl Yastrzemski.

Nice. Way before my time but love that 1967 wrapper!

I tried to sign up with Memory Lane a few years back but they wanted to conduct phone interviews, collect references and perform polygraphs so I said eff' em.

Consignees need to be aware they exclude many folks from their bidding. IMHO there are many real houses out there that serve Consigneer's better.

Here’s what I got. Been wanting one of these since I was about 12 years old. Finally pulled the trigger now that the market for these has dipped over the past few months. This one seemed like a decent quality PSA 2.

Good looking 2. The low grade Goudey Ruth's have such a wide spectrum of condition and eye appeal. You got a nice one.

    Monte,

If you don’t mind my asking, will you be opening any of the packs?

The entire haul is wonderful, my sincerest congratulations.
