I don’t want to bias people’s opinions yet. I’ll post the price after I see responses.

$1850 seems fair. Common date low grade UNC.

I like old ANACS holders so if it were something I wanted and finding in that particular slab was difficult, price would be around $1875, for me at least.

I know. >:):D Personally I think gold is way overpriced, not that my opinion matters to the market mind you, I just think it is overvalued the same way diamonds are.

1900-2000 depends on how much you want it and why. Could get a nice ms65 for not too much more

    1900 +/- 50

1900 ish, but you could probably find a nice 64 in that date for 100$ more

It's a lot of money to tie up while waiting for payment as I wait to sell it. $1900 or so and would look around for $2050 or so to sell it.

Gold is back up to over $1850... lower grade ANACS slab, I'd say $1900 is good...

Interesting to see the different opinions. The price is $1999, but it is at a pawn shop, so I’m thinking there’s room for negotiation.

It is generic gold in a slab that most of the "market" won't care about. Don't be generous. $1,999 is too high.

Just an FYI but at the fun show I could have bought a 1924 in 64cac 2000 or a little more, a vest pocket dealer offered a group 4 of them to me for 8000

This is pretty much what I was thinking.
Does the white holder add anything?

Wasn't there a guy not too long ago melting them in a pot?
Not much has changed 62 is better than 55 sure, but doesn't the average collector start at 63?

I did not look up the holder generation, however, I think it is one of the common old small holders, if so then there would be little to no premium for the holder.

Spot. 0.9675 troy fine gold. Gold settled 1865. today 1/6 so offer 1900 cash. It's authenticated. For 2000 you can get a nice 63/64. Gold is on a tear lately, could easily pass 2000+ oz. soon.. But don't burn any bridges. GL

I wouldn't pay more than $1,800 for it. My reason is I would only want to sell it right away and would be lucky to even get my money back after shipping, fees, and hassle. There is a lot of better gold worth saving my limited funds for.

Why would you sell it on eBay (or similar)? Any legit coin shop would buy it at 98% to 100% of melt
