First Acquisition of 2023 and its Details Graded...

1904 Barber Dime Uncentered Broadstrike which PCGS graded as AU Details Cleaned. I would gladly purchase all toned details graded silver pre-1948 mint errors that look like this. Looks UNC to me and the only cleaned part is the small wipe lined possible spot removal area between U in United and the 1 in 1904 on the obverse. Heck, there's very far worse in all TPGS's straight graded holders when it comes to mint errors, and this is only the third attractively toned Barber dime error I've seen, and I really liked the pull-away.

Holy Cow that thing is gorgeous! I don't blame you for buying it.

Cool coin. If the "details" thing bothers anyone, try to find a better one like it.
lovely coin and thanks for saying it so i don't have to.
Great looking coin. It's likely that coin is unique and another example doesn't in any grade or condition.

@Broadstruck ... That is a very nice coin, and I agree, that kind of quality, even with details, is a desirable acquisition. Cheers, RickO
Definitely a nice looking error!
I suppose one must see this in hand to appreciate a details grade

When you are looking at an error coin, minor problems with a coin are canceled out by the type of error. A nice broadstruck Barber Dime is not easy to find. I used to collect off center Indian Cents....a choice coin with a light wipe never bothered me. Nice pick up!
If that's your first for the year, look forward to seeing your number two! 👍🏻 👍🏻
