Was in a LCS today. In the Chicago suburbs, on the way to work. It caught my eye.

    Those restrikes are great when they have the frost and toning — I would have grabbed it too.

    Joey Baby!....I sold an MT, that looked just like yours to a LCS around here about 7/8 years ago. The shop was owned by a young man and he was having trouble staying in business..... So....I gathered up a ton of stuff and I brought it all to him to sell to give him some decent inventory.....I sold him everything REAL CHEAP!.....I gave it away!..I wanted to help him out and give him some coins to sell.....The coin that caught his eye was the MT!...So, what if?....Could be?....Maybe you have my old coin!.....It looks the same!.....Stranger Things Have Happened!!.....

    Nice coin Joey..... well, I know you appreciate the tarnish... ;) ... Anyway, the MT is a great coin to have. I thought about adding one when I used to go to coin shows... just never found one I liked at the time. Cheers, RickO

    Nice coin. I like the design. Please recognize it for what it is: a very modern, pretty bullion coin with a very SLIGHT numismatic premium.

    I used to joke that 50% of known silver reserves were 1976 Canada Olympic coins and most of the rest was Maria Theresa thalers.

    Excellent! I did the same thing with one of these about 10 years ago... a nicely toned cameo proof restrike...too nice to pass up. As I recall, I even had it graded...PR65Cam, and later sold it. I even made a few bucks on it.
