nice newp.
kind of a mind-blower that with San Fran making coins pretty soon after being settled, making for some great usa numismatic items and some superb rarities (and fun collectable commons), the indian cent ran for so long with only the last 2 years bearing the coveted mint mark.
how gnarly would it be to post a newp of a 1866-s cent or 73-s although i personally would like to have seen a 1859-S CN Cent.
lol, how odd would it be to us if the flying eagle had a mm? we just kinda accept the parameters we are given to work with but i presume if some of those years had mm, it would just be as familiar to us as all the other denoms that have them.
That is interesting... I have never had an S mint IHC..... Cheers, RickO
I've always looked when I come across a small lot of IHC, same as looking through old Wheats and finding a 09 VDB but the S just isn't there. I was happy with the purchase and now to the 09 S IHC. Not sure I'll ever afford a 77 but I did purchase a 74, 75, 76, and 78 this last week.
