An unkind label, for sure

Good morning all. Found a weird labelled stabbed MM item on the Bay. Can't copy it over to my Kindle but the vendor is bassfis-32. @dcarr check it out as I collect your work and it bothered me enough to share here. Michigan Masters Numismatic Service is on the rev. Happy New Year. Peace Roy

    So does the gold MMNS sticker mean it's better than counterfeit, thus not counterfeit. hmmm. Who's MMNS? And I agree with you it was stabbed.

    I paid $85 for my example that included live signature Daniel Carr COA.

    $449 is silly money for something misdescribed & housed in a weird slab & pointless sticker.

    Michigan Masters Numismatic Service. When they moved to Florida they dropped the 1st M, but they still called themselves MMNS.

    How is it counterfeit? A real US Mint product that has been altered, but it's not a fake. Hmmm
    Would it not be accurate to put fantasy on the label instead of counterfeit?

    I have not seen that before.
    The same item is available (for less money) in ANACS holders that don't say "counterfeit".
