I have teenagers and they are convinced that 1867 is the year of my birth!

Oh darn I see I didn’t have my readers on / my bad
It was 100 years before my birthday too. Nice coin. I don't have any from 1867. Maybe I should get some.
Here are two:

Hey @lermish , that’s an absolutely gorgeous Proof 3C Silver!
In my Dansco 7070 Registry Set I have several Proof Cameos of Classic coins. While the Registry allows for Mint State coins instead, I usually go with Proof Cameo, as the eye appeal due to the sharper strike and watery mirrors can’t be beat, but often they are less expensive than a MS coin in the same grade. The CAM is often only slightly more costly than the proof in the same grade without the CAM. Additionally, having the CAM fill a Registry slot often adds a bonus point to the grade (a PR65CAM counts in the Registry the same number of points as a PR66). But the PR65CAM is usually less expensive than the PR66.
Enjoy that coin!!!

Many, if not most, coin collectors assemble a birthyear set of coins... and possibly one of their parents... and children. Cheers, RickO
Nice coin KAJ1......did you post other coins besides the 2 Cent Piece?
The apricot colored toning on this example would nicely match some RB copper coins.
Right there with you

The 1867-s 5.00 is so original looking, with a cool pedigree! We can throw in condition census at PCGS !!! The only Ms graded seems to be from a very long time ago.
Great coins in this thread!
I don’t have 1867 but have both sides of it.

Did someone say 1867?
Here is my 1867-S half dime. Let's see if we can get a complete 1867 type set in this thread!
"You can't get just one gun." "You can't get just one tattoo." "You can't get just one 1796 Draped Bust Large Cent."
Agree. I use to get one of those birthyear coin frames that had a spot for 2 small pictures. Use to put baby pic and recent pic in them with their birthyear coins. Makes for a great Christmas present.

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for first loving us.
Good grief, I love that 2 cent piece! I accurately guessed the grade, but only because I love that series and have been looking at a bunch of them. At present, I only own one - a crusty old EF40BN.
