I have Hydrantette Jenny in training now. I'm hoping when she's ready for competition level action she can finagle me some freebies.

The main training issue I'm having is getting her to focus on her opponents...... It's a work in progress.

In 2010, I had won a "trip of a lifetime" that included tickets and travel to attend both the Wimbledon Men's Final, and then a week later, the World Cup final in South Africa, with other destinations included on the itinerary, as well. I ended up choosing to take the cash prize option instead, so you have my answer on those 2 sporting events.

I've been to a Game 7 of the World Series, or else I'd have chosen that, as baseball is the sport that I follow the closest.

Since I've never been, give me the Super Bowl tickets, please!

Final Four in college basketball would probably be number 1 for me.

Really wouldn’t mind seeing another womens golf us open.
Super bowl I really think I would just rather watch on tv

I'm taking Bivol vs Beterbiev for the undisputed light heavyweight championship of the world, it's coming. One of the greatest pure boxers the sport has ever seen, vs one of the hardest punchers the sport has ever seen, both unbeaten. For a boxing fan, it doesn't get any better than this.

Hydrant to me... Our buddy Galaxico started a poll thread. Did you see it?

me to Hydrant... yeah, I chose SB. You?

Hydrant to me... I'm not going to choose anything. Rather, I will post pictures of women mud wrestling, and then say that I have my granddaughter in training to do the same. Also, I am going to say that I hope eventually my granddaughters mud wrestling career gets me some action.

me to Hydrant... no, don't post that

Hey Showboat, O.K., So I missed it was a poll question. What's the big deal..I get lots of things wrong..... I have a legitimate excuse for my mental shortcomings.....

Now riddle me this, Mr. Know It All.....
In your fevered brain imaginary PM conversation between us, you have me referring to Galixico as " OUR buddy Galixico." You're assuming quite a lot there...... Maybe he's your buddy, o.k.. I can go with that. My buddy?... All I can say is that you don't have very good taste in buddy selection.....
Now leave me alone.... It's time for my meds and early morning nappy.

Full disclosure...I was messaging with DD awhile back and he turned me on to some fighters I didn't know about. And based on those conversations, and my research that followed, I would love to be at this fight as well.

Rams lost 34-O(?)....Not A blast and why I hate the Cowboys!

AND!....The Future Lovely Mrs.Hydrant and I were gifted tickets to EVERY Dodger home game for the 1977 Dodger/Yankees World Series! Not A blast only because Reggie Jackson cheated...

    Can I sell the tickets?

    Dozens of other baseball games
Saw the Buffalo basketball team before they moved to Portland.
Been to 100’s of concerts from 1972-on.
Dated models (still married to one) cheerleaders, professional dancers and even a playboy centerfold. Penny Baker from Salamanca, New York
Played baseball and softball all my life. Was inducted in my high school Sports HOF for baseball for my 3 years 1972-74

    4th round of the Masters

I voted for the Masters (and Wimbledon would be second) because it just seems like something that would be good to do for free; both are pretty expensive and I’m not a rabid fan of either so I wouldn’t be inclined to go otherwise.

I based my answer on the fact that if I had a dog in the fight, I might be willing to pay for the other events.

Curious about the rare, mysterious and beautiful 1951 Wheaties Premium Photos?

Galixico, many years ago (17?) I drove through Agusta, Ga. I will never forget it. Sunday morning early. It was the most beautiful little spot I have ever seen in the U.S.A. The willow trees along the river....BREATHTAKING!... So Idyillic!.... Nothing like it....So, I drove over to where the golf course is......UNBELIEVABLE!... WOW!
That place is burned into my memory..... Unreal....

    BEAUTIFUL!

You would be surprised Laundryman! Just like all the other HYPE surrounding the SB, the price of the tickets is HYPED UP too. It's all geared to get the suckers to bite early and overpay. Then....just before game day there is a scramble by the NFL, who owns the rights to all the seats, to fill seats at the stadium to make it all look good....CAPACITY CROWD!......It's A scam!.....

As I said in a previous post, I was gifted tickets to two SB's. What I didn't say is that I was offered free tickets to a third SB. I didn't go.....At the Rams/Bucs SB in Atlanta?.... I paid less money for those seats than for a regular season game that year.....SB ticket prices are all hype and a scam. You want to go bad enough?...... Believe me you can afford it.
There is more to this but I'll just add this one last thing......The NFL SCREWS season ticket holders at the hosting SB stadium...
    And I mean......SCREWS 'EM.....
I'm angry about it......And so is everyone else I know!😵

Showboat, are you referring to the Rams/Bucs SB in Atlanta? The score was 13-3. And, no it really wasn't an enjoyable game. The Rams got into that SB most likely because of a blown call that went against the Saints in the Championship game. The league wanted a Brady/Brees showdown in the SB. So,.....I knew before the game even started that it was going to be payback time for the Rams. And it was. Many crucial long gainers by the Rams were called back for "holding?" Especially when they were deep in Patriot territory. It was the pattern for the whole game. The Rams were not going to win that game.....As the lady sitting next to me said, "I'm not a football fan but I can see that the umpires are against the Los Angeles team."......
Whatever, it was a nice weekend in Atlanta. The crowd was happy and the Stadium staff was very courteous and friendly. Had a good time....

    super bowl for me.

if it were any sporting event in history, I would love to get into the delorean and head back to 1884 and see some 19th century baseball. no video of games that old. I would like to see Old Hoss Radbourn in action. would also like to see some 19th century football, although from what i have read, it was a very slow and low scoring style of play.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

Just in case you didn't know this already, Mark Wahlberg, who is Tom Brady's buddy, was at the Pats-Falcons SB and left the game when it was 28-3. He said his young son wasn't taking the Pats losing well and was swearing on every other play so they left and missed it all.

W.S. over the Masters. Only because with golf in person you miss a lot of coverage in person, whereas when you watch the sport on TV there are many replays of great shots. At least in baseball you have a view of ALL the action in view live. And the big screen at the stadium gives the coverage as well.
