    I got my first slabbed coin for Christmas several years ago. It was a 2008 silver eagle (That's a special year for me ;) ) in an NGC MS-69 holder. I looked at it a few days ago and noticed how scratched up it was. I now remember trying to "open the case" so I could "get a better look." I'm glad I wasn't able to do so.
