Looks like it might be this.

Found a couple on eBay for around $10.00.

The OP token has considerable more wear, and the picture is blurred... So not sure they are different. Cheers, RickO

Commerce swag from a purchase of some sort. IMO. Gas, cereal or similar. Peace Roy

Sorry to say but it's a modern historical novelty token circa 1960-70's and worth about a buck if you can get it.

I was going to guess some kind of gas station giveaway (Shell?).

Thanks guys! Wasnt expecting much out of it, but you never know. I guess the biggest mystery was why was it in with a group of Mexican coins!

Very close, but not a 'match'.

Here is the 1968 Shell promotional item, from the Presidential Hall of Fame series, made by the Franklin Mint.

Numista lists this token. It seems to 'match' the previously posted info from the Smithsonian.

Both references indicate a 26 mm diameter. What does your token measure?

FWIW, I also found this. The diameter is different (i.e., 2 mm less). Notwithstanding, it appears to be a good visual 'match'. This one is made of brass and weighs 5.53 grams.

Among other uses of this workhorse Osborne Coinage die (which has gone through various refinements over the years) check your old "Meet The Presidents" board game pieces. I learned a lot of incidental trivia from that game.

Ill have to check the measurements when I get home.
