Stocking Stuffers for Young Numismatists...show yours

I have a couple 10 year olds who I want to get started in the hobby. I picked up these 2 for stocking stuffers. I hope they spark interest. What do you think?

I think you have a couple good picks. Also, simple things like buffalo nickels and merc dimes should also spark a little interest.

When I was a kid my Dad used to put various foreign coins in my stocking, was fun and interesting to look through. I still have a jar full of them.
No more YN's in the family at this time.... some toddlers might become interested in a few years. I always give the parents an ASE for the newborn... hoping they show it to them later and it sparks an interest. Cheers, RickO
I have 3 young grandkds and will give each a modern Lincoln cent book. Hopefully they will get interested. Other older grandkids i gave a silver proof set to but they didn't like it.
You don't even need to spend that much; I was hooked by a common, raw, circulated sacagawea dollar at about 5-6 years old. In fact, I think it might be better if the coin were something that they could hold and touch.

I think this OP gift is perfect. It would hook me!
I was hooked by a circulated 1972 Ike. It doesn't take much if you have the bug.
