my favorite thing about Christmas is being able to hang my favorite ornament on the tree every year

hey galaxy27,
That's cool...
I'm really enjoying these Christmas posts, let's keep them coming all the way to Christmas. No tree is complete without a GOAT ornament!

My Holiday Sweater...
I've posted my Elf on the Shelf pics in previous Christmas threads, but for those who are unaware, I give this guy the job. There is no one better at being perfectly still and just watching things go by.
This is what I asked Santa for...I think I have a better chance of hitting a grand slam in Fenway.
Merry Christmas to all.
Is that the 53? Actually saw one a few years ago at a local show where I live. I often wonder how many of the 300 are left?
Just bumping the Christmas thread. Let's keep this one rolling!
Its either a 54 or 55, all 53s were painted in polo white, and, as you stated, only 300 53s were built. Even though 53 was the first corvette, the eye appeal here is clearly obvious.
That is correct regarding the polo white, I thought about that after I posted. My guess is a 54 then. Since 53 and 55 had very low production numbers as opposed to the 54. My favorite C1 is the 58, I like the extra chrome it has.
Our tree always includes the 2016 Ben Zobrist ornament. Merry Christmas everyone!
I'll take the panama yellow 58 for Christmas!
Not to get the thread off point, but...
I loved my 73 vette, as you can see, I added the '69 option side pipes and other goodies under the hood. LOVED this car, and had the thrill of ordering it from a dealer. The second picture is the day I almost died, had a truck hit me in an early morning rain storm, never saw him coming. I still have the "large" piece in the bottom of the pic with the corvette logo, this happened in 1975, very bad day.
^^^^ Wow. you were very fortunate to live through that one!! The big man upstairs was looking out for you that day!
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
I was indeed, the whole thing was bizarre. I only saw a brief flash of his headlights and then the impact. It was so, so sad to hear the engine gasp and gasp then it died. I got out and had to listen to the anti-freeze hit the ground. The truck was a small one, and he disappeared over a ditch, I could barely see his rooftop. Then two guys came crawling up the embankment. The driver said he was heading right for my door and at the last second, he swerved left and caught the nose. I was surprised my insurance company didn't total it, the car was never the same again.

We always have a few presents under the tree before Santa comes. Just the wife and I so it’s always a cozy Christmas

I don't know why I started this thread, I don't even celebrate Christmas anymore due to the commercialism involved with the holiday, I switched over to Festivus a while back, we celebrate on the 23rd so we can get a leg up on Christmas. Festivus doesn't end until someone gets pinned, and my wife was able to pin me last night around 10:45. Here's the story of this wonderful holiday, a Festivus for the rest of us!
I have to say, I find it very odd that my wife requested this pink wall clock, it's one of the presents she wanted for Festivus. Very strange indeed, but her wish is my command!
