Hi guys,
My eyes right away, was drawn to this beauty.
Sure, the obverse isn't as pretty.
Opinions guys?
Thanks. :)

In hand, the obverse still has some cartwheel effects.

Nice color on the reverse but I think the obverse would have kept me away personally.

Nothing a dip can't fix, if you're dexterous enough with your hands to only dip one side of the coin and not lose the reverse toning

I love it! Don't know the grade and it could be AU, but I still love it.

If it makes you happy then that’s good enough for me. Kinda like the color. I won’t go off on my usual rant about spotted toning. It’s definitely not like other examples. Very nice. Would you mind PM me what you paid or post it but be prepared for the attack of the Formites. 😁
I shall not judge you, I’m just trying to learn value. 👍🏼

If those reverse colors are vivid you can probably flip it for a good profit ... as long as you didn't pay a premium for a raw Morgan to begin with. It looks like either an AU or a low MS. I probably wouldn't have it slabbed as that costs money and ties up the coin for a long period.

    All glory is fleeting.

    Good Point!
I just might do that? Did it before.
    Thanks ;)

    All this talk of flipping.

If you're flipping it let me know what you want. I like it. Don't love it but I like it.

Nice coin as both the obverse and reverse have their own special view.
    Cool.

It looks to me like it spent some time in a soft flip and the leached acids have slightly etched the surface. The slightly corroded rims suggest the coin has incurred some environmental damage. I don't think it's that badly etched; PCGS will likely straight grade it as it did with my Lafayette dollar discussed in another thread here.

I think it's MS62. Have the coin mounted reverse up and you will have a winner. Nice pick up.
