61, All depends on price
Latin American Collection
AU58
I’d pass
I think the extensive die polish, likely to remove the evidence of the young portrait from clashed dies on the Saint George side, is mighty cool. Does it create a flashy halo affect when rotated?

Good question, I haven’t seen it in hand so I cannot answer.
MS... 61 seems to be the better opinion... could 62 on a good day

"yes CAC" would be quite an accomplishment for any world coin.
Tom spoke about the reverse - anyone else have any thoughts about it?

I think it looks like a 62, but I expect it’s in a 63. I would not buy it in a 63 or higher. The fields and high points are pretty rough, especially the face and hair.

We have a few winners. It was graded as MS 63 and sold for $1,020 last night. I would have graded it slightly lower - I’m a bit conservative in my grading. I also could not get past the reverse. While interesting, I like my fields without distractions.
I see that "micro-ticking" and central loss of lustre about the Vicky effigy & would also have to go 58, max 61. Reverse die polish doesn't really bother me too much. Not my cup of tea but alright.
Well, just Love coins, period.
MS62, would I buy it? I guess if I needed the date. The die polish doesn't offend me.

MS60. The die polish lines on the reverse don't bother me all that much.
