Yes, I picked it up mainly because it was an interesting looking piece!
The proof like fields made it difficult to light up well...

It was a reasonable price for its condition too so that was nice. Part of me thinking about slabbing it mainly for preservation as a sample. OTOH I believe you can buy your own slabs? I know they won't be nicely sealed like the tpg but would that be a reasonable alternative?

Be careful, those heavily die polished Morgan dollars can be very addicting. Just wait until you see the 1879-S VAM-107a LDS in hand!!

Yes. About 600 miles SE of where you were. I've never been to Copper Center, had to look it up. And I thought I was in a small town.
