re punch mintmark

Hello, just wanting to show these two mint marks, are they re punched? The first is 1986 D, second is a 1984D

No. Damaged.
No. The first is damaged, see where the D is flattened? The second is probably where the copper plating has been breached and the underlying zinc has corroded.
Both cents appear to have PMD.....Cheers, RickO
