Here's something a little different...

At least different than what I normally collect. I won this on Great Collections the other night. My first GC coin. When I was about 10 years old, my grandfather gave me a 1926-S Peace Dollar. I sold it or lost it long ago. Lately I've been on the lookout for one to represent that coin in my collection. Saw this and thought I'd pull the trigger.

That's a keeper.
Really nice Peace/piece!
Congratulations!

Looks like a nice one as well. In fact the 1926s was the first peace dollar I ever got as well when I was young. I, too, lost track of it over the years.
Excellent!

Great looking Peace $. And, just about the last coin I would expect to see in a MLC thread, even with the prep in the title!
Today I received a grade of MS64 on a 1926 S Peace Dollar (which had been in a Redfield holder). The coin has great luster and multicolored rim toning on both sides.
I will post a Trueview of the coin when it pops.
Please do! It sounds great!
I'm guessing this one is a lot nicer than gramp's coin.
You did very well... a really nice Peace Dollar, your Grandfather would be proud. Cheers, RickO
Here is my newly graded 1926 S MS64 Peace Dollar.
Beautiful!
Good choice, I like 👍
