Has anyone ever seen one of these before? Need help

My grandmother, who lived in Maryland as a small child and New Jersey her whole adult life, gave me this. I have never been able to find another one listed online and have no idea what it was used for or given out for. It says Lions International on it and I assume it was given out to Lions club members. It is made of a black/grey metal which has some spots where the metal is reacting with the environment. It is larger than a silver dollar. Any help would be appreciated.

There is a fancier silver version that is similar from a Lions Club convention that took place in Mexico in 1952 at https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/1952-silver-mexico-35th-lions-club-1814585843
I’m guessing it is a cheaper version from that or a similar convention in Mexico because of the Aztec calendar on the reverse

an engine search with text shows aztec calendar coin/token on a few different issues. the one that came to mind from your image is this which would be from the 50s/60s and restrikes much later:

Nice token. You might try contacting Lions headquarters and they may refer you to a club expert for identification. (https://www.lionsclubs.org/en) Cheers, RickO
