Felt like sharing a very modest favorite

When my grandmother died several years ago, I helped my dad sort through some of the coins she had collected. It was what you'd expect - nothing flashy, but I always liked this Morgan for some reason. It just reminds me of her, I guess. Thanksgiving got me thinking about her and I felt like sharing the coin.

Give your grandparents a hug if you still have them!

Thanks! It has a very nice, even wear to it in-hand. I personally like its eye-appeal.

That's a lovely momento. I'd Quick-slab it and use both labels to spell out the family history. Good luck. Peace Roy

@pendragon1998.... Very nice, and very special. Self slab it with pertinent information. It is a family treasure. Wish I had something from my Grandparents... Cheers, RickO

I know it isn't "worth it," but does it look like it would grade?

Wonderful story, my maternal grandmother is the person that got me started and interested in coins. She is gone now but those memories are always there for me.

Not worth sending to PCGS, but a great memento.

A wonderful family heirloom from your Grandmother!

They just don't make them like that anymore.......................................including the coin!!
