Opinions on a Seated half

Not knowing much about these, can I get some opinions before I decide to hit the buy it now button?

Thanks in advance.

After wavering, I’ll go with approximately XF45 details, lightly cleaned.

Cleaned XF. PASS!
Thanks for the opinions. I'm looking for one for my 7070 and trying to stay with AU 53 to AU55 ish. Light cleaning is somewhat okay.

I agree with the XF assessment and certainly cleaned. Cheers, RickO
Cleaned at the least moderately.
A common date you can find better out there for a nominal increase in price.
Pass
Hard Pass. For that money you can get a problem free coin, probably in the xf45-au50 range, perhaps even with CAC approval. No need to gamble on this one which would likely end up in a details holder.

While the prices for this jump up at the AU level it is possible to find nicer coins than this one on ebay. Here is a screen shot of a P45 CAC on Gerry's website that sold recently for $325, so while I don't think this ebay coin is a terrible deal I do think that with some looking you can do better if you are willing to drop down to the XF level. If you are firm at wanting an AU that is not heavily messed with then you may need to adjust your budget slightly. For what it's worth I think the ebay coin is more of an XF than AU.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
GS is $130 in XF and not that much more as a 45, $160, a little over $200 in AU. So cleaned it may be worth south of the XF price. Why are you in such a hurry to buy that, does it "speak" to you?
1854-O is one of the most common dates in the Seated half series. This coin is cleaned and washed out. Since this is a common coin, I would wait for one with ideal eye appeal.
