Chasing Silver - The Story of Gorham on PBS

I am in the process of watching "Chasing Silver - The Story of Gorham" on my local PBS World channel. While not actually about coins it contains information that many coin collectors and silver stackers will find very interesting. The use of coin silver is covered as well as the use of 70,000 dimes in the production of Admiral Dewey's award cup. This is a very well done, multiple hour program that many on this forum will find interesting and educational. Recommended! (The show was originally produced in 2021.)

Sound interesting I’ll check it out.
I will look for that one.... Not a TV watcher, but that looks interesting. Cheers, RickO
I watched it. Good documented history. The company's demise was sad. Of course PBS had to add their political & environmental spin to it.

A great American success story!... Until it wasn't.

Indeed. I believe they still exist, but barely.
I have a lone example of their Martele line:
