New $20 Gold... a first for me!

I found a St. Gaudens $20 piece I really liked and the timing was right. (I had the money)
This is my biggest numismatic purchase for a single coin to date after nearly 20 years of collecting.
I've been working on the gold type set slowly but surely and this one fills a big spot.
Feel free to guess the grade if you'd like. I'll post the slab shot after a while...
There's some subtle rose color toning that splashes through the middle that my photos do not really capture.

I don’t want to be Debby (or Mark) Downer, but the areas between and above portions of the first five rays to the left of Ms. Liberty look cloudy/hazy and are of some concern to me. Hopefully, they’re less conspicuous in-hand.

Nice - Those always look so good without the chatter marks

A beautiful coin 🪙
63 was my guess, but not my series by any means and therefore could be way off.

Great new Saint! Are you doing the 4, 8 or 12 piece gold type set?

Also concerning is on the reverse the "Y" area. Hopefully not puttied. Sharp looking coin I would say its in a 64 holder.

Very nice acquisition! My estimate is MS64
Congrats! Once you get your first gold the addiction begins!
Good for you. Looks MS 64 in pictures. Face looks to have light rub in photo But.... I'm guessing you're hooked.
Looks to me like an MS64, but the hazy areas are concerning. Cheers, RickO
63 RGDS!
I like the year and that her nose isn't disfigured by contact marks. Nice!
While I commented about the obverse, I think the area at the Y in (edited to correct) TWENTY on the reverse could be scuffs on the holder.

I think you meant "TWENTY".
