Do Coin Shows still do Coin Drops?

It was so much fun when shows such as the Long Beach coin show would "spend" key-date cents near the convention center days before the show schedule.
I haven't heard of this practice for a while and wonder if this tradition is still being acted upon.

Are there other coin-related traditions that you miss?

I had not heard of this practice. When I lived out west, Seattle, I went to many shows and was not aware of such a thing. Have not seen it mentioned in show reports here. Cheers, RickO
