A GTG with two Vermont Commems. (grades in last post)

I have always been drawn to the Vermont Commemorative Half-Dollar because it has an intriguing design for my liking. First, it's struck in a nice, high relief so that it almost looks like a medal. Second, because the reverse is just flat out bad a$$ with a cougar depicted in stalk mode!! What a great choice. One thing I've noticed from looking at quite a few of these coins is that many have unstruck flaws on the obverse portrait and/or flatness on the hair just behind the cheek. The result is a lot of unappealing coins and grades in the MS63 range.
I thought I would post two examples for members to consider and grade, albeit entirely from images. I'll wait an appropriate time before I do the reveal. Thanks and enjoy.

First one is a beauty, 67 to me.
The second I don't care for, bad pic?, but lowball guess is 63

Both really nice coins.. If recently graded, 66+ and 63+

The second is a poor pic, my guess is 63.
The first one looks like a gem, possibly a superb gem; the second more like an AU58 to me with that photo.

Very nice 😋
What a great looking coin 67+ and 65+.
edit: Commem.
The first coin can be found at CoinFacts or via the cert check page with its number of 37261281. It's graded MS65 but to me looks better than that and I would be a buyer if it was offered to me. Here's a link:

The second coin also looks to be under-graded but in that yellow ANACS holder, AU55. I'm not as optimistic about that as I might be if it were in a PCGS/NGC holder. What concerns me are the dark spots on the temple and cheek which were probably "thumbed" to hide the rub. The image is below.
Late to the game, but I do like the reverse of that coin. I have seen cougars/mountain lions/Florida panther in the wild, and they are awesome creatures. I may seek one of these coins just to enjoy the reverse. Cheers, RickO
I like the top as a MS65 as that's what they looked like a decade ago but agree today would probably be in a higher-grade holder. The dark spots on the AU55 are the rub areas which toned over as that top hair curl along with the felines shoulder are the highest points. ANACS has been a conservative lately, yet if under graded it's just a AU58 as it does have rub.
Here is mine walking away from the house.
A deceased logging friend told me about a catamount he'd seen when he was young that had fallen into a copper mine/pit.
Not to nit pick here but the reverse is a Catamount not a cougar. There is a difference.
Yeah, whatever......................many common names, including puma, mountain lion, catamount and panther, etc. Have a nice day.
The catamount (cat of the mountains abbr.) is/was another name for the Eastern Cougar, officially declared extinct in 2018 (thought to be extinct as of 2011, however).
