Ever Wonder What's On Circulated Coins?.. The Stuff You Can't See!

Turn off your iPhones, laptops and computers. Look at your black screens in the light... That's what's on coins and worse!
Although, I'm sure some of your screens are very clean.

Have you been talking to emeraldATV?
Translation?
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
I assumed the OP is referring to touch-screen devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.).
I can assure you that mine are clean, but I have seen some others that are a disgusting canvas of greasy fingerprint smudges.

Not worried.... If I cannot see it, and I don't get sick, then no problem.
Cheers, RickO
From what I've seen during my travels, most peoples iPhone screens need an acetone bath. 🤣 😂

Not to worry. Everything we touch is filthy and mostly completely harmless unless it is also wet. Coins are among the safest things to touch and this goes a few times over for silver coins due to the antimicrobial properties of the metal. But copper also is antimicrobial so all of our coins are relatively safe.
If you want to worry about money worry about the rag dollar that only exists because of lobbying just like the less than worthless penny. Rag dollars absorb moisture, oils, germs, and filth and can support life for far longer than any coin.
Worry about the fact people pay so little attention to transmission of disease and someday there will be a real pandemic.
You should know all the old farts here use flip phones.

According to the late comedian George Carlin people need to be exposed to all these environmental issues to build up immunity... which is why he claimed to swim in the NYC East River and gargle the water. 😜
I was gonna have Mr Clean stop over for cleaning advice but then figured that was a bad idea............
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
So laundering the money is the only option I suppose.

The black light can also be used in your rented hotel room. Turn it on with the lights out. You will be surprised what you see. There is also a special light one can buy for this very reason. Forgot what it is called.
