I'm guessing the 1849 is a P mint? At 839,000 mtg that's a pretty darn nice find in the wild!!

i feel that technically we can say this was found in circulation.
i'm not really sure what that says about our species or culture here in the usa that a seated dime from 1849 was still making the rounds. the mint employees of that time would be PROUD! (i think)

What year is that Canadian dime? It might be silver too.
The Canadian dime looks like silver around the rim with no copper showing but it is a 1999 dime. So, not silver.

That is an amazing Coinstar find... I have had some great finds, mostly quantity and some silver dimes.... Never anything like that 1849 dime. Congratulations... Cheers, RickO
Thanks. As I was walking by the machine, I always glance at the reject return. I saw the quantity of coins and stopped to collect them. As I was sweeping them into my hand, I saw it was a seated dime. I was soooo excited. I just kept it in hand until I got to the car. Then I opened my hand and confirmed my find. boy was I ever excited! Still can
