It is with deep sorrow that I share with you that Alfred (Al) Johnbrier passed away on November 8, 2022 and Ed Kuszmar passed away on November 7, 2022. Both made significant contributions to the Numismatic Community throughout the years and will be greatly missed.

Condolences to their families. Did not have the pleasure of meeting either, but a loss to our community is sad.

I was close friends with Al, since he lived in Maryland and did the shows I promote. I didn't know Ed well, just from the Baltimore shows over the years.

Both Al and Ed were assets to numismatics. My condolences to their families and friends.

I learned of this last weekend and was very saddened to hear it. I knew them both and both were class acts! Ed Kuzmar, I believe, started the Baltimore coin show. At least he was in it very early. And Johnbrier was a fixture at all of the local shows who was always fair to everyone.
