I like the look much more than tobacco. Perhaps we can work on framing the strength of the look.
Own this mint state 1923 Peace Dollar that radiates warm elegance only seen when silver ages in a similar vein as a fine Burgundy. Both require a fine pallet and a discerning eye to recognize what really matters... Quality that has withstood the test of time and endured the passing fads that are now a mere footnote. Ownership for a coin such as this is not for those that choose to compromise but those that seek to make a bold statement predicated on the unblemished quality highlighted by originality that is so rarely seen.

Own this mint state 1923 Peace Dollar that radiates warm elegance only seen when silver ages in a similar vein as a fine Burgundy. Both require a particular pallet and a discerning eye to recognize what matters... Quality that has withstood the test of time and endured the fads that are now mere footnotes. Ownership of a coin such as this is not for those who choose to compromise but for those who seek to make a bold statement predicated on the new quality highlighted by the originality that is rarely seen.
I picked up a raw 1934-s VF Peace $ years ago from group of $ from walkup seller at show (as dark or even darker than op coin) and had to really work it with dip off Q tip to get that crud off. Improved its appearance considerably. It later did well on eBay.
Not even on a good day when feeling generous. Do not like that dark tarnish... Looks like it spent time in a barroom spittoon (I don't think they have them anymore). Cheers, RickO

wouldn't bother me so long as the luster is there. it is just a widget.
Many blast white to choose from at a reasonable price. Not very attractive, but if you like it then….
I love that crusty tobacco spit toning on Walkers and Peace dollars.
(It's an acquired taste.)

Am I seeing something green on reverse bu UNUM? Might be toning but looks bright, like PVC.

Badly tarnished. Will get darker as time goes on. Would call it a C coin.
Ahhh, you tease.
I can only hope!
