I forgot and got up an hour early... No loss, work today anyway. Cheers, RickO

Clocks changed. It's an illusion of time travel...you can relive a whole hour...or sleep it away.

I just wish they’d set the time and leave it be year round. All this time changing stuff isn’t good for anything except giving knotheaded TV anchors something to talk about.

The US should just go back to standard time. The myth that daylight savings saves energy has been debunked for decades. While it helps business a little during the summer, the health effects of "extended" daylight are also true. Besides, more darkness means more time to dream of coins I'll never own.

Only government would claim you can make a blanket longer by cutting an inch off the bottom and sewing it on the top.

Paper money eventually returns to its intrinsic value. Zero. Voltaire. Ebay coinbowlllc

I say move the clock just a half hour and leave it there forever. Split the difference.

Word is there going to revive it and try to make law to leave it alone, another push on the law

Leave the time the same throughout the year. More government interference, and I for one have had more than enough of that.

What everyone forgets is this - perm. DST - was tried in the 1970s to save fuel during the energy crisis. The number of accidents involving school children in the mornings skyrocketed and it was abandoned after a year.

If we abandon DST, we should stay permanently on Standard Time - that keeps us in sync with the rest of the year... and the hour during the summer to help the farmers is less and less valid with so few of us now tied to the harvest.

I used to live in Tokyo. There is no DST in Japan. In the summer, it was bright at 4:00 AM.

While the farmers may like it, the city folk definitely do not.

That is an odd reply. Not sure what it means but afraid to Google it.
