CAC 1.0

I will be sending in a few gold coins to CAC's new grading service on day one just to get a CAC 1.0 holder. This way 20 yrs from now when CAC is on holder 7.9 my holder will become rare and valuable. 🤭

Based on TPG holder history, likely a good gamble.... Cheers, RickO

If I had change to send own coins to CAC I would do that asap.
It sucks to live in Europe EU.
Please submit as much as you can because us = worse off people will have to buy the surplus from online afterwards.

We Europeans only have nude coins or imported slabs (with high custom taxes).

Unless CAC makes a quick major change to their first slab design, I doubt they'll be rare enough to command any kind of premium. When CAC starts slabbing coins, I can see a major influx of coins being submitted.

I was talking with a dealer yesterday who is a big CAC fan. His plan is to send in every single NGC CAC coin on day one. I don't think he is alone.

1st CAC submits are exclusive and limited to very select people ( almost V.I.Ps ) so they will sell for premium.

Early ID numbered CAC holders will be absolutely worth more money than later ones.

Good luck on sending as much coins as possible.

They may do that once they realize the narrow bold font looks terrible.

I have a feeling that is what many said when PCGS and NGC started, some of those early slabs have huge demand. Granted that may not happen here, but I have five raw coins selected and will send those in as soon as operations begin just to add a CACG gen 1 holder to my collection. As to the idea of a major influx, only current authorized CAC submitters will be able to submit to the CACG, so that will somewhat limit the number of coins that can be sent in on day one.

This will be an interesting situation for collectors mostly but also some dealers, I recall reading JA say that CACG will automatically return the old TPG certs to the prior TPG, does anyone know if that is still true? If so it would eliminate the cheaters that continue to use the old cert numbers in the registries.

Brilliant! If I were 20 years younger I'd be all over this.

Absolutely true! Of the many positive reasons for crossover submissions, I truly believe this will clearly be the biggest category!

Just be kind to the holders and do not throw them in a stool pile like some sellers they will get damaged.

Come on please do not do this:

    • You will bet that these coins are having a hard time. :'(
    • Poor slabs thrown in such a pile. :'(:'(:'(
    • Total ignorance slab condition effect value too.
