Quit buying crap from the banks.
Put more time into looking at mint sets and proof sets….

I’m not arguing with your feedback. I don’t know why everyone is getting so defensive all of a sudden??🤨

History. You have to understand. People show up almost weekly claiming to have a rare, nearly impossible error. Many of them, not all, end up strutting or arguing with the regulars. It's made some people fairly defensive.

    It's not you. It's us.

@jmlanzaf —don’t do this. There’s not enough room in here for two avatars.

@yspsales i made an appointment and took it to a very prominent dealer near where I live and he was surprised to see such a large natural “gem quality piece” such as this with the unique pinkish red hue it displayed when trying to pass light through it. He recommended that I have it properly certified before having it cut, and he also said that in his personal opinion, natural stones are better than treated stones, which I agree with.

Missed the found in a house part of the thread.

Was only trying to give advice to cut thru that learning curve and focus on results.

I know NC has alot of gemstones.

Could very well be a nice treasure, and would continue to get opinions and valuation estimates.

    Pulling for you!

There is a difference trash and treasure.

Many of us could come up with 20 varieties to look for in modern change.

    Others could discern errors.

    You have paid your tuition.
