The Nets are so poorly run and have been forever. This is another laughable move and the second time the Nets went all in on over the hill players and lost in the last decade.

I didn't look for it, but I remember the press conference with one of the guys , maybe Irving, talking about the coaching...saying one day he'd be the coach, the next day Durant would be the coach, etc. LOL
Good for Nash, he gets to leave that nuthouse while pocketing just over 17M for this season and next. Homie needs to go take a long vacation and enjoy his time off, maybe go see the World Cup in a few weeks.

i struggle to decide who i harbor more disdain for -- LeBron or Durant. so to see both of those guys on moribund teams with their seasons effectively over on November 1, nothing warms my heart more with the exception of that male Rams cheerleader who was grabbing hydrant's ass in that picture.
and before anyone reads this and says, "galaxy is out of his mind, it's still so early," i will go ahead and retort now with, "ok, fine. there's a snowball's chance that they could miraculously turn things around and make the playoffs. then at some point on the journey to the Larry O'Brien, they'll inevitably run into Milwaukee and spontaneously disintegrate."

The Boston Celtics will gladly send Ime Udoka to go coach the Brooklyn Nets,all they ask for in return is the same draft compensation that the Nets previously gave them for Kevin Garnett & Paul Pierce. 😎

The talk here right now is are the Celtics willing to just let him go to Brooklyn for nothing? If he leaves they probably get out of his remaining 3-4 years on his contract,not sure if he originally signed a 4 or 5 year deal.
There is precedent of getting compensation for your head coach leaving when back in 2013 Boston let Doc Rivers go to the Clippers and got a future first round pick in return. I doubt that they get that though if they get any return compensation at all.

I gave up. There was nothing new just nonstop complaining about Mac Jones. From all reports ime will be the next HC in Brooklyn and the C's move on from that headache he caused.

I have watched a few NBA games the past couple of weeks.
The veteran superstars of the league who have played 10+ plus years (i.e. LeBron James, James Hardin, Kevin Durant Stephen Curry, etc.) are now in their early, to mid, to late 30s. While they are still great players, it is apparent that they are getting older and do not have the stamina, quickness, explosiveness and endurance that they had when they were in their 20s.
I see many new players on NBA rosters who are 18 - 23 years old who have phenomenal physical talents (speed, quickness, stamina, endurance) and basketball skills of varying levels. Some of these newer, younger players are so much better equipped to play 35+ minutes at full speed than the older veteran star players. The older veteran players are no going to be able to keep up. They must rely on their experience and knowledge of how to play the game to offset the energy that the new players are bringing to the game.
Some of the younger players are going to find success early on in their NBA careers and in doing so will end up shoving the older star players to the bench and eventually into retirement.

I see Kyrie managed to last about two weeks before heading off on a team-forced vacation lol. I hope Udoka enjoys his time back in Brooklyn.
