Another Early Gold $5 added to my set

When I showed my 1803/2 $5 Draped Bust to a friend they told me there was a typo on the slab because it was an 1805. Well, now I have an 1805 to go along with my 1803/2. Seemed like a fitting date to add to the Early gold set.

Many of you saw this 1805 pop up Monday on the Gerry Fortin Blog (along with an 1802/1 that also has sold already). Over the last year or so I have worked with Gerry to sell off some common Liberty and Indians in various denominations. I cashed them in for this AU58CAC the minute I saw her. This one looks great next to the other one that I have. I will not get all the years in this set but I can see myself searching out a few more. Especially if I find any superb examples like the one @Pedzola posted in a thread.

CAC pop is 82 in all grades, 15 in AU58 with 41 higher. I like to collect coins with under 100 total pops.

I have fallen in love with Early gold. I hope you enjoy the 217 year gold lady and older sister.
