We lost Paul on February 19, 2022; he was 85. He was a no-nonsense dealer who would spend time with you and give you advice on coins both in his possession and elsewhere at a show. He helped me build my collection in the '80s when I would see him at the Central States Show in Dearborn. He will be missed.

Condolences to family and friends. RickO
condolences as well.
i didn't work with him much but enjoyed talking to him and his wife on several occasions.
almost always had some coins in his case that were a step above most others at the smaller shows i saw him at. draped, bust etc.
some fun old stories he seemed to enjoy sharing and i enjoyed listening!

Never heard of him but he sounds like someone who really contributed to the hobby. I'm glad to hear that he's missed.
I'm sorry to hear this, years ago when I lived in Ohio, I used to see him at shows around Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. He was always willing to talk and had nice coins. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.
I did some business with Paul several times, usually at the annual Cinci show.
This is one of my favorite coins and it came from Paul around 1999. I had looked at earlier, said I would think about it while I looked around the rest of the show, decided I better buy it, then found out he’d left for the day. As it was a 3 hr trip one way and I wasn’t spending the night, I left a long and pleading note that I really wanted the coin.
He called me at home Saturday, thanked me for the note, and said he would ship it to me at no additional expense, and to send him a check after I get it in hand.
My condolences to all involved
Sounds like he was a good guy.
