Submissions Question

Has anyone who submitted an Economy submission at The World's Fair of Money in Schaumburg, Ill. (August) received their submission back?
As you may recall I have a lost submission that PCGS received about the same time. I'm certain it's mixed in with that bulk delivery.

If PCGS hasn't logged your submission yet, I'd be very concerned.

I've made that inquiry, I have the post office confirmation of delivery. PCGS says it wasn't delivered.

    This ought to be fun.

I just know after getting their insurance company involved it will hit the grading room. "Oh, look what we found."

I'm mostly curious if coins handed over in person at The worlds Fair of Money have been graded yet because mine should be in that time frame.

I turned in a Regular tier submission at the ANA and it was logged in the following week. It is currently in the Grading mode.

I’m confused, you said you submitted in person at the WFOM and also that the USPS confirmed delivery?

No. He said he submitted at the same time as the WFOM not at the WFOM.

I am sure you still have that tracking number and it should showed who signed or picked up the package on that date. I had coins stolen going to pcgs in the anaheim post office years ago and I was on the phone to pcgs and the PO within 1 day after it should have been there.

I cannot understand that you still do not have a answer to your problem. Have you talked to anyone LIVE at pcgs? It has been over a month since your last thread was posted. Sorry for your troubles but as each day goes by it sure makes me wonder. Plus If someone at pcgs picked up your package they are now responsible not the PO. Good luck...

Yes 1Tommy, I finally got to communicate with someone who promised to and got back to me last week. He said, yes, USPS tracking indicates that my package was delivered on 8/24/22, but PCGS doesn't have it. He wants me to go to my post office to file a claim on a package the Post Office will say they delivered.

    Fun times.

I'm hoping it just got put into a tray for grading before it got entered into the system but I cannot be sure. I'll go to my post office later today to get laughed at.

That is just nuts on there part and this is what my shipping showed for last week and notice the person who signed for it. If you look yours up does it show who signed for it? You are right if it shows delivered the usps is not going to pay a claim.

Your item was picked up at a postal facility at 1:19 pm on October 26, 2022 in NEWPORT BEACH, CA 92658 by PCGS. The item was signed for by H AVILA.

I am just amazed that pcgs told you to go to the PO and if someone did sign for your package I would tell pcgs THEY better start a claim with THERE insurance company. Maybe the coins are lost in there office and I hope you get them back. But for them to tell you to go to the PO to me is nuts.......
