Question for eBay Sellers: Have you tried adding videos to your actions?

Has anyone messed with adding a short video within their auctions? I've noticed a few auctions lately which had one. I kind of liked it, and I felt it gave me a better overall 'feel' for the coin. If you have, do you feel it has improved your results?
I noticed that eBay claims all videos need to be reviewed first, before they are added to the auction, and this can take 48+ hours. That seems a little odd.
Anyway, thanks for your comments.
Dave

I have seen it done.
I would only use video for Godzilla toned Morgans but, unfortunately, I do not have any Godzilla toned Morgans to sell. In fact, if I had any, I would probably not sell them anyway.
I have tried it on a few listings. I have not had a large enough sample size to see if it makes a difference but I think it is useful for toned coins.
This listing for example has it:

I believe the (up to) 48 hour review is so that eBay can check that you don't have anything in the video that would go against their policy,
Based on my limited experience, yes, I think a video is very helpful.
In the past 6 months, I've included a video in about a dozen ebay ads. If memory serves, all but one sold in less than a week. A few sold in just a day or two. (Of course, I know many variables can contribute to a quick sale.)
Anyway, I think a video helps reassure buyers that the Seller actually has the coin in hand.

I've bought from a guy who uses them and swears by them. There are only a couple coins that I can think of that would be particularly useful... Ie a couple that are particularly difficult to accurately photo due to toning. Also give you a chance to show off the luster where it exists and if there's a cartwheel effect.
For the time investment I see it as a case by case basis. I'm not sure every coin needs it if you can photograph them well (ie most Morgan's and ase are pretty easy for me now).

Video's can be a useful addition to an auction. Much closer to 'in hand' viewing, as opposed to beauty shots of a coin. Cheers, RickO
