Strong strike

This coin has a strong as a strike as I have seen on a v nickel. What do you think?

    It looks good but the lighting is often a relevant issue in these matters.

    Very! Curious about the grade?
    My guess would be UNC details cuz of the booger…

    You nailed it. That is a planchet flaw and NGC detailed it UNC detail with planchet flaw.

    That lamination is most unfortunate. Strong strikes on 12-S nickels are hen's teeth!

    Nice little die crack between the 2 and the star as well. Color is a bit odd, maybe is the lighting?

    Absolutely. It got a whole lot worse in 1913.
