Can you recommend a good Sniping program?

After having been shut out 2 times by either eBay or auction sniper (not sure which) I am in need of a new sniping program.
What can you recommend?

Bid the max you're willing to pay and let the program bid for you! Very simple
I use E-snipe. It has never missed, even once.
I have always preferred to do a live, manual snipe. Lots of fun that way. Cheers, RickO
I too love eSnipe since it lets me go to bed early as I prefer. I do have to stay up sometimes for GC auctions but it's all good, no coin shortage here.
Gixen is the bomb. Never lost a snipe, easy to use, and free. I pay for the Gixen mirror which is a cheap $6 per year, which gives you a 99.9% success rate (i think)
I’m with Ricko. And I rarely lose something I want. Manual sniping is an art and the more you do the better you get 😁

I'm an e-snipe person also. They charge 1%, but it works......
I've always used bidnapper, works great for me.
Edit: As far as price, I think I paid $20 for 10 snipes a couple years ago, they only get used when they're successful, and I use them rarely enough I still have some from my original purchase.
Manual sniping is overrated. Nobody wants to sit around for three hours to make 50 or 60 bids. Besides, eBay only cares about one thing- who has the high bid- and manual sniping is no guarantee of that.
Shh...that's sacrilege.
I recently bought 5% of an entire online auction (108 out of 2200 lots)...with bids placed 24 hours or more before the auction closed.
I usually get my snipe bids in the day before the auctions end and check my emails the morning after to see what I won. Who wants to sit around at the computer waiting for auctions to end when you could be doing something else?
Well, in using some of the advice posted in this thread I tried placing some manual bids on coins. What I found was that on anything over $500 I was getting a message from eBay wanting to verify my account. I believe that is why the snipe bid failed. I called eBay and asked to have the limit lifted. They say that it has been. I will see the next time I place a large snipe bid.
I have been on eBay for 23 years and have bid on many +$500 coins so not sure why all of a sudden this limit kicked in. It must be something new that eBay has implemented.
THE REALLY SAD PART IS THAT EBAY REPS (and I talked to 4 different reps) DON'T KNOW ABOUT ANY OF THIS. I HAD TO EXPLAIN IN DETAIL WHAT WAS HAPPENING AND WHY. THE REP DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT LIMITS AND BID VERIFICATION UNTIL I EXPLAINED IT TO HER.
Thanks for the help.
In my case, verification hasn't been permanent. It seems to last a few months - just so you're aware in case a future snipe gets rejected.
You need eBay Concierge.
Benefits of eBay Concierge
eBay Concierge gives members access to dedicated, specialized experts within our customer service organization, with minimal wait times.
Oh, yeah...
Currently, the program is open only to select customers.
And that's probably not you. Sorry.
What are the qualifications?
Feebay does not want you to use a sniper!!
they do want you to use their bidding system...enter UR highest bid..and you have no worries.
oh yes.. that is how pricing goes through the roof... automatic feebay bidding.. works every time.
Who knows? Not me.

"Feebay"? How original.
No sure who’s sitting around the computer for hours. I set an alarm for 10 minutes before auction ends. At that time I can invest 10 minutes if I want the coin and the price is in my wheelhouse or pass.
Simple, quick and easy. 10 minutes. 😁
I also have rarely met a coin I couldn’t live without if I don’t win. It’s a hobby and I will have fun but there’s certainly dozens of things more important than a coin.
Ofcourse, I’m raising my 9 year old grandson and that really helps put things in perspective 🥰

Really? I keep hearing about these snipe "nuclear" bids. I guess this are mythological.
It's interesting that the forum loves sniping bots but hates shopping bots...
Ok. Now, do this 50 or 60 more times when you're bidding on auctions from a seller who has them ending every minute. I guarantee it'll take you hours.
Haters gotta hate. Meanwhile, ebay is still number one after 25+ years.
You still have to be free at all those arbitrary times.
currently using the top one.
Sorry. We are very different. I’m a little guy and only a collector ( on a pension). I have never bid on dozens of coins, just something for me wee little collection, one or two at a time.
I certainly appreciate how difficult what your dealing with would be. I’m too dang old to handle an operation like you are describing. Good luck and I appreciate your point of view and thank you for sharing your thoughts 👍🏼

My purpose in using a snipe bid,,,,,,, besides ease of bidding is to not reveal my highest price that I am willing to pay. I use a sniping program to save money. I am also not available to sit if front of a computer at all times that auctions I am watching are ending,,,,,,, I still have to work for a living.
If you are using the Feebay program: enter your highest bid now and we bid for you", the chance is likely that you will get it IF a sniped bid is the same as your max bid entered on FB auto bid. their own system always gets preference.
however, it will not work if a sniped bid, last second, is higher than your max ebay bid,
Ebay bidder, if set, bids relentlessly after each other bid, UNTIL its limit pre-setting is reached.
just check it. sometimes you will see a whole ladder of bids, actually looking similar to shill bidding.
this would only very seldom happen with manual bitting when 2 bidders go at each other.
If two bidders bid the same amount, the earliest bid wins. It doesn't matter whether you bid through eBay or a sniping service.
I use this program and it works just fine. Have used it to 2 sec bidding.

I sign in on two different screens and to make sure my computer and eBay don't time me out switch from one to another during the last fifteen minutes to go. Then with just a couple minutes hit the place bid button when the white screen pops up I enter an amount I think would win the auction BUT I DON'T CLICK TO ENTER THE BID UNTIL THE LAST 6 to 8 seconds. Best Program--RIGHT HAND INDEX FINGER. -- I rarely fail to get the item but it still happens. And I always put some odd amount of change on the bid 13 cents 53 cents 72 cents etc.
Yep! RickO it's The Bomb especially when you beat out someone else sniping that's got feedback in the thousands that's like a snipe TKO. :-) :-) :-)
Also interesting that people seem to hate thinking they maybe overpaid when they win an auction except when they snipe. Then, they're happy about how high they bid.
Well, either that or their idea of "nuclear" is 25% below retail.
I wish eBay would switch to a rolling close. That would really mess with everyone's head as well as more accurately mimic a true auction where the last bid standing wins.
Auction Sniper for me.
Phantom Bidder was great for the decade or so it lasted.
It's a sniper thing, you wouldn't understand

I use AS and it works well for me. I might over morning coffee input some snipes at .60 CPG and then revisit a day or 2 before auc close and possibly bump up.
The problem that I ran into placing a last-minute bid on eBay was the verification process. After calling them, I was told the reason they needed verification was that I was bidding on an item that was listed in the bullion category. Apparently, that is the category that has the most problem with fraud.

I use esnipe and would highly recommend it.
