Except for some possible commemorative coins, you are probably correct.

Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    Decent exchange rate now.
What was the first British coin to bear Elizabeth II's portrait?

Are they going to issue one with Charles III portrait as well?

From what I can tell, the Royal Mint issued a 1953 proof set to first honor the queen. Perhaps someone with more knowledge about British coinage can fill in the blanks.

Supposedly very limited mintage with QEII and I'd be curious know what that might be. All sites selling are still taking pre-orders.

You can find a few dealers already delivering the 2023 version.

I guess "limited" is a relative term. That does not necessarily mean scarce or rare. I too have seen this on offer at many sites in what appear to be unlimited quantities.
