if you look at a full image high-grade ddo, you will see the doubling is offset a good bit which is different than the op coin and as others stated, there are many other devices with doubling due to the wide spread. i found my one and only in ag3 and it was obvious to me right away.

it is pretty basic edited with MS paint. there are many ways to do it but using a Snip program copy/paste into ms paint and a little resizing and viola. takes but a minute which is why i do it so often and harp on for others to do it as well.
works well for grading, counterfeit detection, attribution etc.

I don't think it's a 1916 DDO at least. The best diagnostic for that one is often the ribbons, and I don't see any ribbon doubling here.

How sure are you ricko? I know if I put it in vinegar it will reveal. But if it is a DDO I will lose all its value for what it could be
