I'm pretty sure that I have a 1/1 laminated Gretzky rookie. Yes, my school teacher mom thought it would be a good idea to "preserve" my cards. I was 7, so I didn't argue. Posting this because Neil @thedutymon11 will get a good laugh, again.

I would imagine that '75 set is staying with you forever. It isn't easy getting that set in uniformed high grade throughout.

I had some raw 75's that were so sharp and glossy that it spoiled me on looking for a high grade set because even some of the graded 9's I saw out there didn't even compare to these. The ones out there lacked that extra luster that these had. I ended up giving up the hunt and let go of those few elite ones I had.

I had a 75 set in standard Ex/Mt condition too...but I really wanted to get one to ALL look as sharp and clean as the handful of ones I had. I could NEVER find any like it so I gave up.

Your set darn near looks like it does. Congrats! Hang on to that one. You will never be able to replace it.

A beauty!!! I had some opportunities to pick one up as a young collector (more than 40 years ago) but sadly never did as I couldn't justify the expense at the time. Clearly, one of the worst decisions of my life!!!
