EDITED to add next day... A very brief report on the Denver Coin Expo...

EDITED a few posts below...
I went yesterday after work for a few hours.
It's a really big show! It's a really good show! Tons of sellers and positive vibes.
Everyone I spoke to said they were super duper busy on day one and I saw it was still busy yesterday as well.
I made a few small purchases yesterday and also gave away a couple more Broncos coins to wonderful people
I'm going today for a few hours too now that I've thought about a couple pieces I might want.
Huge image, blow it up!

Thanks for the report and great picture. Hope you find some good coins today. Cheers, RickO
Thanks for the report, @Kurisu. Did you happen to see Ben the Coin Geek at the show?
Tim
I did not, yesterday or the day before. But I was there later afternoon on Friday and only for a couple hours around noon yesterday. About a 3rd of the sellers packed up around 2 yesterday close to when I was leaving.
Here's a little more of a report for everyone...
Got to speak with a bunch of wonderful folks, some of whom some of you know from here
Got to make a few fun deals.
Ran into an old co-worker who happened to be selling a few penny rolls from his childhood in the 70's. He's never searched them because he's never really collected pennies seriously...so we made a deal and I bought 'em
Submitted my first coins to ANACS (some tokens and a clipped quarter error)...even though I actually live only 10 minutes away from them I've really only ever submitted with our host lol.
Met another friend at the show who's learned a whole lot during her first year of collecting! She made excellent connections searching for some pieces she would like.
Then I had some great timing while speaking with some wonderful people and I was gifted such a wonderful Denver Coin Expo commemorative copper round that just makes me giddy, I looooove it!!
Acquired my 2nd and 3rd ever Daniel Carr pieces! My first one is mounted in the cover of the recent beautiful So-Called Dollars book. The 2 pieces I just got are right up my alley. Fun experimental rims on small dollars! ...Daniel made a reeding tool
I looooove them too!
