I find this medal interesting yet know very little about it.

I purchased it as I have always found the simplicity satisfying, and I like how it has even wear.

It's a medal from Anthony Paquet that was sold at the US Mint. One side is Lincoln and the other Garfield. NGC had a very good article that mentioned these a few years ago, the link is below-

It was probably someone's pocket piece. The level of wear is unusual for a medallion. Perhaps once owned and carried by someone who admired Garfield and/or Lincoln.
