Odd penny weight

Good morning. I found this 1982 D Lincoln penny roll hunting today. When I weighed it to determine the composition it was 2.94 grams. That’s too heavy for zinc and too light for copper. Any thoughts??

The min weight tolerance of a cent is 2.98 grams. You may have a slightly rolled thin planchet. 0.04grams is very minor and carries no premium

Thanks Ricko. I have just never seen an undamaged brass cent weigh 2.94 grams before.
