One company says it is, the other says its not. How can you be more elated than not whether you have the real deal. Sure, you can now move the coin easiser, profit more on it although, at first, PCGS was your preference. I'd say, 3rd time is a charm! That way, you will be at least 67% sure either way. lol

The more qualities observed in a coin, the more desirable that coin becomes!
The coin is still at NGC, I have had no communication from them. I randomly checked the cert about a week ago and noted that it had changed. For now I will be cautiously optimistic.
As soon as I get confirmation one way or the other I’ll update!
Since they have it in their possession and this is a major snafu, they have nothing to lose by calling it PF62 while they research it. As others have said this is quite complicated due to the stakes involved.

They’ve had it for about a month now, why does it take so long to identify it ? Are they waiting for someone to fly in and look at it?

You could have said the same about “nothing to lose…” at the time they flagged it, previously. Yet, it was flagged at one time, but isn’t now (though the pictures aren’t showing).

Maybe they crossed it to ANACS and will re-slab it to whatever they feel it is once it returns?

I was completely wrong but at least I got two LOL’s😊
Edited to say congratulations my coin brother on such a great addition 👌
I always like a happy ending in a cherry picking thread. For what it's worth, I was in the "undoubtedly a proof" category the entire time.
