Seller gave me a free gift coin! I almost threw it away...

A neato TINY St. Gaudens from a very nice seller...who didn't tell me there was a gift or that it was in the flip on the back side of the label (and somewhat hidden because the label had some printing on it) lol.
I noticed it as I was tossing the flips into my recycling pile.
It's metal and heavy enough that I can feel it, has a reeded edge and even looks like a touch of luster on the obverse, fun!
Coins are Neato!

Always nice to receive an 'extra' from a seller. There is a recent thread about this topic. Cheers, RickO
A "Mexican gold miniature". They were quite fashionable in the latter half of the 20th century, and Mexico was the main place of manufacture. They copied designs not just from US gold coins, but gold coins from Mexico and all over the world too. Typically made of 8K gold, and worth a few dollars at the time. Perhaps worth a few more dollars these days, with the price of gold where it is.

Apparently I have been awarded one DPOTD.
Cool freebie.
And I'm guessing it's the same tiny 1 mm diameter and 0.5 grams as my Mexican miniature:
Got 3 of 'em from my Grandmother in the late 1970's.

I assumed it was something from @emeraldATV.

I have a few of those tiny coins just for fun. They are so tiny. I think they are like 1 gram or something.
Neat little things but easy to lose at that size!

Can you see it if you misplace it?

I bought this earlier in the year. It's a 10 mm miniature and was made about 20 years ago by this company. I had to call the company to get any information on it and it took them a couple days to get back to me and let me know exactly what the deal was it has about 1 g of gold in it but for 10 mm coin that's not too bad.
Sorry about the poor quality pictures but this very very small gold coin is really hard to take a picture of.
