What the Sam Hill do we have here?

On its face it would appear to be the doubled die of the century, but his other items do not inspire confidence.

Check out the picture of LIBERTY, and the other 1922-D cent he has, and tell me what we have here.

The full coin shot looks normal.
EmeraldATV where are you? We've found your soul mate.
I am sure we will hear other inputs, but I cannot tell from those pictures whether it is authentic. In the meantime, I will be checking ALL my 2022 cents.
Cheers, RickO
Well if it was free shipping, maybe then.
I would have to check but that looks alot like something that was posted on the NGC forum for opinions.
My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Looks to be glare. I think the lighting is playing tricks
Dead Cat Waltz Exonumia
"Coin collecting for outcasts..."
It is just a normal cent in my opinion.
Reflex shadowing.
I cannot believe you uttered the vile epitaph "Sam Hill" on a public forum, I have reported you to the moderators for crying out loud.
it looks like a 2022-D .... PL showing reflections with angle
I do see what appears to be some type of notching on his other 22-D listing. But I'm in the reflection column.

Like you, I frequently still live in the 20th century as well
Reflections and perhaps some ringing in the image from blowing out the contrast and oversharpening making it look doubled.

I have a friend whose uncle is Sam Hill. He objects to the use of his name without compensation. Send $$
i think i am missing something.
it appears it is just a typo in the title of the listing for the 1922-d part.
the ddo part is likely a lighting effect or some more die erosion or similar effect. i've seen this on 2021 and 2022 coinage.
there are some pretty amazing metal flow lines on the quarters, sometimes going all the way around the obv and/or rev.
