Thank you all! When I obtained the Kaufman auction catalog it was fascinating to read that this incredible collection of rarities was displayed by attaching them to display boards with glue or tacks. I suppose nearly 100 years ago it was acceptable to glue or nail your coins to the wall- what a long way this hobby has come!

It’s neat that they wanted to share them with the public- but since they didn’t have the internet they just built wall display safes and literally stuck them on the wall.
