I think I got lucky with this one. The seller's pics didn't do it justice. It's very rare to find decent XF Buffs on ebay for just over CDN bid. Most coins have a 1/2 to 3/4 horn and are way overpriced. I made offer $30 below BIN price and it was accepted. Free shipping too.

@Picker1954... Very nice Buff...Will you be submitting it?? Cheers, RickO
Maybe some time in the future. I am planning on taking my better Buffaloes to FUN in January and will get some opinions on them and may submit them there. I tend to be conservative when grading Buffaloes. I just submitted a 1926-S 5c that I thought was XF45 and it came back AU53.
@Picker1954.... Conservative on grading is good.... saves some disappointments. Cheers, RickO
That's a nice '20 D !
Nice 20-D Buff!
Goes to show that there are still some deals out there for the discerning bargain hunter.
Congratulations

You must have missed the memo on adding at least one grade for ownership.

Now listen boy, I'm tryin' to teach you sumthin' . . . . that ain't an optical illusion, it only looks like an optical illusion.
My mind reader refuses to charge me....
A great album coin but probably not worth enough to justify the cost of slabbing.
Personally it looks more like a weak strike rather than wear. In my opinion this buff has little actual wear. I would submit it. You might be surprised at the grade.
